Soniri is a modern jazz quartet weaving together lyrical melodies and bandleader Nadina Podinska’s poetry into a dynamic and intimate jazz-sound.

Combining both jazz and Latvian folk music with the storytellling nature of Nadinas poems, Soniri defies easy categorization.

In their live-shows they are known to experiment, arranging in the moment with real improvisational spirit.

Their debut album „Songs about You“ takes you through all seasons of life – the story goes and flows from loving in silence to suffering in stillness.
